Hello, I'm your Welcome Committee. This is the new California: you're going to need to change that attitude, mister. Oh, here, let me give you your In-n-Out burger and a gallon of organic milk. We call this the 'Starter Kit' and it's our favorite welcome to the great state of California. Yeah, that's it, put a smile on your face, but not too large. We are a nice folk, but not that nice. I mean, we chat at the gas station, but you're not getting a ride in my car. You'll also want to invest in a book that you can read secretly. We don't believe in that public transit stuff, so whatever tome you choose is likely to sit next to your bed for months, but you better have one anyways. You don't have a car? Oh, you better fix that right away. Yes, the weather is nice, isn't it? And the views, they're just grand.
