Recent Things of Note
- Aerogel- Having finally touched a piece of it, this stuff is magic. 99% air and light enough to prove it, almost completely transparent, and increadibly fragile. This is what seeing velcro for the first time must have been like.
- Chocolate Ricotta Fritters- The best part of the Cookie Finale at Al forno, the restaurant which showed America what wood oven pizza is all about and former top tier eatery. The dinner left me a little disappointed but those fritters are damn good.
- American Flatbreads- Blackbean, tomato, and corn is the best flavor.
- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by the Flaming Lips- surprisingly delightful for a Springy pop album.
- Vosges Chocolate- Like Jacque Torres but with more eastern influences and better packaging.
