The Education of a Farmer
Bridges fall apart, pools leak, fires get out of hand. Cowboys, I assure you, do not eat hamburgers with avocado. Neither do they belly up to the bar in a restaurant with animatronic buffalo heads on the wall. At least it didn't sing to us.

Recently I discovered that there is a whole group of people that park overnight in walmart parking lots instead of using RV parks. Besides being a scary, this is a genius move by Walmart.
A little break spent in the rural depths of California was exactly the break I needed. That and good mexican food.
Two miles of asparagus, weeds that smell like apples, wild turkey, dryers, and caked cigar smoke. Grafting, nursery grafting, pruning, good soil, and bad soil. One, two, three, The Loop, old, 24, and Ruthy.
