Chocochips, Spring Rolls, &c.
Everyday a new piece of downtown becomes visible as more and more trees lose every last leaf. Tonight: the Biltmore.
Hot cocoa, water, watermelon candy, anemone tea, orange juice. Pineapple juice.
mathowie: I need famous architect trading cards.
mathowie: just make trading cards.
mathowie: put their annual project budgets on the back, in their stats.
mathowie: how many projects they completed each year.
mathowie: "I'll trade you my I.M. Pei for your Frank Lloyd Wright"
nayrbreyob: even better. pogs!
mathowie: yeah!
mathowie: finally architects will get the respect they deserve, now that they're back, in pog form!
Made spring rolls for another party. Need to work out the fish sauce thing, as hosin really isn't appropriate for something that light. Anyways, the magic is this: basil leaves, mint leaves, finely cut ginger, shrimp cooked in ginger and sesame oil, parsely, mango, and a sprinkling of cumin all wrapped up in a double thick spring roll skin.
It boggles me that some people still haven't come to terms with the fact that their image (visage?) is not under their own control. ATM cameras, security cameras, ID photographs (and the databases they're stored in), all seem to conveniently drop out of people's minds.
I miss Chelsea.
