Preheat Oven to 350
The best time to bake is just before dawn. Cookies out of the oven and sun above the horizon, what an event. Chalk one up for bad packaging: in the baking goods aisle of the local grocery store I found a box of Arm & Hammer baking soda and promptly dropped it into my cart. Upon getting home and unpacking in preperation I discovered that the box was not a make-cookies-with-me box of baking soda but a I'll-take-the-stink-out-of-your-fridge box of baking soda. And it cant be used for baking. And it says this only in small print. Things are a bit fluffy.
