Summer Storms
Lately I have fruit at lunch time and two pints of water between lunch and dinner. Healthy? No, just scared of the cafeteria food.
Apparently someone stole a chair from the hallway upstairs, so the owners of said missing chair have posted signs on all the doors warning that if it isn't returned, the big bad scary campus police will be called for room searches. The tragedy of this story isn't the chair, it's the sign they made. This is a design school! What are people doing making a sign with red, blue, and black type set in Times bold and all caps Helvetica? Eww.
To note: big, dark, flashing clouds usually means lightning. This also means that it's probably not a good idea to continue your outdoor drawing. Also, when the clouds turn green and the wind picks up, blowing dirt and random junk into your eyes, it's probably a good idea to start walking home a bit quicker. When it starts raining you're pretty much screwed.
Later, Waterman and Angell turned into two huge waterfalls. Enough flow that manhole covers were uprooted and caried down the street a bit. You could tell where the hole was because the water became discolored. Needless to say, when crossing a street-now-waterfall where the sewer has been exposed it's recommended that you cross upstream from the open hole.
Did I mention I'm not very good at this whole drawing thing?
