Today I woke up at 1:00pm, mucked around for a bit, and then packed my Aeron into my car. I drove it to the office, its new home.
I took a job last week. Startup number three. This has a few ramifications. The first and foremost is that my summer's journeys will be canceled, curtailed at best. There will also be a lack of lazy mornings, free time, copious amounts of pineapple juice. These are all ok things.
Resolved: To travel to the city more. To see friends just miles away as often as I would see friends just miles away.
There is not much to say, you see. Except that perhaps I dislike buffet tables. I've been organizing my thoughts along six major axes. It is within this space that I feel a certain progress being made towards the ability to further articulate my thoughts. This is encouraging. The following books find themselves as important, interesting, or fun points somewhere therein:
- Airline : Identity, Design and Culture, Lovegrove
- Brand.New, Pavitt
- The Global Soul, Iyer
- Life Style, Mau
- One Market Under God, Frank
In an unrelated manner, I must prepare my works in a printed format. A challenge!
I must find time, I must do more, I must keep better track, I must be in better connection. And these aren't even my resolutions. This past summer was that of To Do Lists, perhaps the coming months will follow suit?
I am finding motion everywhere I look.
